Very nice! That thing would servive a nuclear war!

I like the dark screen and baby blueprints. My king gshock has that dark screen. You either love it or hate it.

Anyways congrats brother happy father day! Enjoy it!!

Unfortunately my watchmaking tools haven't arrived yet, but there's a vintage Nivada dive watch at my jeweller's that I'm keen to restore (cross your fingers that it's sound mechanically) that I want to give to my father. I originally wanted to keep it for myself if I hypothetically got it running, but felt it would be better to give him something memorable. I have no pictures and I haven't even opened the caseback up, as I last rummaged through the box of spares it was hiding in a few months ago. I'll have my hands on it in a few weeks' time, hopefully.

·

No new watch but something to organise the ones I've got. Just got into watch collecting and Casio feature very heavily.

Exciting stuff.

A watch restored definitely makes for a more personal gift. Send me the pic when it arrives. Take you time when your working in the Watch if it is in fact necessary for you to service.

Best of lucky!!

Thank you! It definitely needs a service. Anything coming out of that box needs work; it's where my watchmaker kept his broken watches and donor movements. Hoping it just needs a clean and an oil.

Thanks dude! I’m not gonna lie I was a bit teary when I saw the mug…aside from my sons drawing my other daughters helped with transferring the drawing digitally and it felt more special since the whole family thought of it…

I’ll keep the watermelon for a bit but I will sneak the Dino from time to time …

Enjoy your Father’s Day my friend and Bambino is pure class 👌🍻

Here Father’s day was earlier this month. However, last night I bought myself this one as a gift actually thinking I wanted to give myself something to remind myself of what kind of dad I want to be and I am.

Image

Couldnt be more happy with it. It is magical✨

Did that Baltic come with that bracelet?

Happy Father’s Day to all, this is not new but is my most comfortable.

Image

Do you know the reference for this Rolex?

·
Mr.Santana

Did that Baltic come with that bracelet?

It did. Very comfortable and no hair pulling. The bracelet us somewhat smaller than the beads of rice on my Doxa but the Baltic is a smaller watch. I have yet to pull the trigger on a blue/gold nato.

·
Mr.Santana

Do you have the reference number to this watch?

That's a Doxa Sub 300 current generation available online and in specific retailers:

SKU: 821.10.351.10

·
Mr.Santana

What does comp and alti stand for on this watch?

It's a mudmaster so it has an ABC function altimeter, barometer compass.

·
Mr.Santana

Mr.Santana

What’s the reference to that CW?

Hi, it's a CW C65 Vintage. Manual wind, no date, skin diver style.

·
Mr.Santana

Is this watch automatic?

Yes

·
Mr.Santana

Hey my watch box broke this one looks like it locks from the top. Do you know where this was purchased from and do you like how it’s holding up?

It's a Rothwell brand box from Amazon. So far so good, I'm happy with it.

·

Hits every second marker dead on, bracelet is a bit self harming (the clasp rubs the brushed finish on it) and hard to see in low light but during the daytime it’s excellent, keeps perfect time. The date window is nice to look at, blue Saturdays, red Sundays, and a black background make the whole thing look smart.
