I might reach out , yes. According to the site I’m ineligible for a return since I’ve worn the watch, but asking never hurt anyone. Generally islandwatch has great customer service.
I almost can’t believe that nobody caught this before selling it. it seems so obvious of a mistake and really simple to fix. I understand that this generation of Montauk ditched the printed chapter ring of before, but the hands should’ve been modified. I even tried to find examples of other watches where the hand goes to the edge like this one and just ..can’t.
