Amazing tournament. I own a nivada chronomaster myself and I was happy to see it doing well (as a supporter and fan HAHAH) but also appreciate the exposure to other brands too

Oh damn.. thanks for sharing that. I wasn't aware of the actual security risk the data poses 😢

Great to see that your daughter has joined in on this 🤣!!

I have pretty sensitive skin too, but it doesn't always flare up. Depends a lot on the environment (e.g. hot/humid) as well. I used to have a steinhart titanium that occasionally triggers my skin to itch.. tho that could also be attributed to sweat or the bracelet being a little sharp?

I used to see my army instructors wearing Garmin watches and I thought that was pretty badass, and it really made an impression on me till now. But that was before I was really into watches.

If you ask me now, I'd say a badass watch is one that I can't identify what it is, but there is a charm about it that fashion watches don't have. Didn't know much about Nivada and when I saw it for the first time, I'm like "OK THAT'S REALLY SWEET WHAT IS THAT"

Where appropriate, I'd compliment a nice looking watch as well!

commented on Why are non-hacking watches still made? ·

We all know mechanical watches arent accurate ><. So back in the day, for military purposes, hacking was a way to make sure that everyone had syncronised time telling on their wrists.

Nowadays its a little redundant for that purposes, like so many before, digital watches do the same thing but better.

As for handwinding, its a little finicky. With the ETA 2824, even though you CAN handwind, its better not to, due to the teeth profile of the crown wheel and ratchet wheel etc, i wont go too long here about it. If you wear your seiko SKX007 all the time, technically you wont have to handwind it at all.
