Hi WatchCrunch, I please need your help. I bought this Oris ProPilot X Kermit Edition in May 2023 and since then it has been in repair for more than 3...
Update 2: After a two month waiting period I finally received my PPX Kermit back from the manufacturer. They didn't replace the whole movement because the newer and updated version 400-3 is still in the testing phase and the rollout is delayed until the end of 2024, or rather until further notice. Nevertheless they put in a new balance wheel and swapped out some other parts (which my local AD couldn't tell me). As for now the watch holds the time just fine within the proclaimed range. However if any problem with the movement should occur then Oris promised me to replace the movement with the updated 400-3 when it is released.
A small update: after my AD talked with Oris directly he told me the issue is the color of the Kermit figure at Day 1 chips off a bit, the paint falls into the movement and thus it runs slower. Apparently they fixed the issue with a new movement iteration (i guess 400-3) which will be available in January/February next year. So I'll send the watch back to Oris in January anf hopefully the issue will be resolved.
