Sapphire Crystal with Green AR Coating
Hi everyone, recently I’ve invested alot of time learning about modding a seiko. I’ve seen alot of IG post about seiko mod and think “well, I’m not gonna lie to myself and mod a seiko to look like a rolex or ap, but I’m interested to see how I can spice up the look of a SRPD watch”.
First time I saw the image posted above, I was very impressed with the look of it and just realize that there is different AR color, I always though theres only a clear AR coating, just how many time you apply the coating on the crystal. , and So knowing that there are other AR color (green and blue), I’m thinking to get the green one. But one of my acquaintance said it will cheapen the look of the watch.
As I dont have any experience in seeing the crystal upclose, do any of you have any experience with it? Can you share some thought if its a good idea to get sapphire with green AR coating or just stick with the sapphire with clear AR coating? Thanks in advance!
