Crunchers:
I have sold a piece on Chrono24 no problem, but as a potential buyer I have encountered a strange potentially Romulan phenomenon wherein a seller posts a price with a “Suggest a price” option and when I suggest a price with a 10-15% discount it is rejected without a counter. These pieces are still unsold.
Now here in the Beta Quadrant, suggest a price = negotiable. But this is a waste of time if you are not willing to negotiate. If you don’t want to negotiate, you can only provide a Buy option.

I've had that with the "Make an Offer" function on Ebay. Sent the seller a link to current used prices for the watch in question and it was declined. Watch was on sale for months later by which point I had stopped watching it.

Precisely! If you don’t want to negotiate, don’t ask or allow potential customers to suggest a price or make an offer.
