I've got a Bulova Manual Wind hat was made in 1958 and it still keeps perfect time, I love the old watches 

I am thinking about adding a faceted Crystal to my Seiko along with changing the dial, I saw one recently and it was really pretty

Personally I wouldn't have a watch without a second hand 

I for one am not interested in 50 meter waterproof, if a watch has a decent amount of water resistance I'm good.
