I purchased a vintage quartz Zodiac sea dragon on eBay and I kind of rushed to buy after the seller sent out some lower offers and I counted pretty low after that. The offer was taken and I was pretty stoked until I went back to the listing. I had saved the listing because I was looking for a yellow watch to add to my ROYGBV diver collection.
I had counter offered pretty late in the evening while I was in bed. I thought I was just being ballsy with a really low offer. My heart sunk a little bit after reading that it was not operating. I figured I would just send it into zodiac and see what the problem was and bite the repairs costs or just figure out a new movement.
It arrived 3 days later. I open the box and pulled out the watch, there it was ticking away. I'll take it as a win. sometimes a watch just needs a little banging around to get working. 😆
Has anyone else had any wins like this after purchasing a watch on a whim?

Congrats on your acquisition. May you complete your rainbow diver collection.
What a fun concept for a collection… a bit unexpected. Next CMYK fliegers… or a full Pantone scale of field watches 😂
Congrats on the new watch and lucking out on it working out the box! Looks like a perfect summer watch 🤙
