Have been interested in watches for quite awhile. Just liked the aesthetics and pairing with activities and with quartz. In the last decade, I found myself into mechanicals as I got tired of dead batteries when I wanted to wear a particular watch.
Subsequently, I have been enamored and entrenched with the human ingenuity and art that has come to define many of the brands that I have found interest in. That, and the idea that I am able to afford this insane (from an outsider's perspective) hobby.
