I have a small 6.25" wrist, and have found that while I prefer 38mm cases, the most important measurement for me is how far beneath the case back the lugs hang. Ideally, if the watch were put down on a table, the lugs would touch the table and the case back would be suspended above.
Timex - 40mm case, 49mm lug-to-lug
Dufa - 42mm case, 47mm lug-to-lug
Hamilton- 38mm case, 47mm lug-to-lug
Ideally I'm looking to pick up a 38mm white-dial Swiss watch for less than $1k USD with lugs that dip below the case back, but the closest I've found so far has been York&Front, and I'm not 100% sold on the design yet.
Does anyone have any good suggestions?
