While I love the history behind and the idea of wearing a moonwatch, at 42mm it’s just too big for my wrists and I’m not really into the Speedmaster 38… I wish I was. For me it’s the Aquaterra Shades.
How fortunate to have something passed down from your dad. I can’t imagine how special it is to own it knowing he wore it and loved it for so long. I bought my first watch (other than an Apple Watch) last week. This, as well as all future timepieces will go to my 6 year old son when I’m ready to let them go.
