She posted a watch collection photo on Facebook.
Mom just IM'ed me to let me know that she is using the Seiko to track the accuracy of the other two. The Elgin isn't meeting expectations. You can't make this stuff up.
80 year old women are the newest demographic for watch collectors. Didn't you know? The Wall Street Journal is working in an article as we speak.

It is a JDM (Japanese Domestic Model) only that I imported. I think it has an older Grand Seiko designed quartz movement. There is a cool wave pattern on the dial.

Hey, if it brings the prices down on stainless steel sports watches 36mm and larger I'm ok with being priced out of the 33mm and smaller vintage watch market.
