I almost had that happen to me. was in the Victoria Swatch store last night, where they have all the current models/colors available. I held the one I wanted, but couldn't bring myself to buy it for that exact reason.

The snzg15 is a great watch! It'll run forever and is a fantastic choice to take on all your adventures.

I have one from '85 even they still had "Navitimer" on the dial.

Pros: light enough to completely forget it is there. SO many functions, all accessible through just the crown. Elegant, but purposeful aesthetic.

Cons: the watches of my era have the rider tabs that stuck out on the chapter ring, and those seem to find and pull seams on pants, sweaters, quilts etc. other than that, I don't have a con for this watch that others watches didn't share.

My 20 yr old one is working ok. I've heard of QC issues, but mine have been fine. I have a 1590 and a 38xx series chronograph. Can't remember the exact ref.
