A slim ‘dodecagonal’ case. An extraordinary integrated bracelet. And a textured 3D dial that’s impossible to ignore. Available as a steel automatic or...
I didn't mean in in that way at all. I just find it odd that despite marketing this as a unisex watch they changed the design of the white dial version to make it look more like a ladies' watch (in my opinion). It just so happens that a white dial 36mm twelve was on my wish list so I was a bit disappointed in the release (but my wallet is happy).
If these models appeal to you, that is great! I have felt some of the similar struggles as you, being a short man with a 6" wrist, I find most modern watches are either too big for me or otherwise come with diamonds, etc. which are not my preference.
However, it seems that lately midsize watches are becoming more popular, so we will be able to enjoy more options than before.
I double wrist with an Apple Watch when at home because the fitness tracking, timer functions, and notifications are too useful to forgo, but I also want to enjoy looking at my mechanical watch.
However, I don't double wrist in public because like it or not, some portion of the population thinks its weird and I don't like to draw attention to myself in that way. If I'm doing a hike or exercising I'll single-wrist the Apple Watch but otherwise I'll single wrist a mechanical watch.
Also, it's nice to not have your watch constantly pinging you with notifications when you're with other people.
They have already confirmed that the Twelve is coming out in 36mm, what this confirms is that one of the four dial colors will be green. I'm hoping this doesn't mean they will go all non-traditional colors. A white dial 36mm would've been my next purchase.
MOP looks amazing, with the other colors the mismatching date window color would be something I couldn't overlook.
I'm torn between getting this exact model and waiting for the CW Twelve in 36mm. I know the Twelve is objectively better in every way but I can't get over how pleasing this MOP dial is to look at.
