New Watch Alert- expanding my Seiko collection

I’ve previously posted about how I really enjoy the Seiko Prospex line and I’d still say that in my budget, under €1000, the Prospex line is Seiko’s best. But I’ve always been interested in the Presage watches as people always speak so well about the dials and finishing. Unfortunately one of my requirements is a water resistance of 100m and all the affordable Presage Seikos only had a wr of 50m. So I was really happy to find this Seiko Presage Sharp Edge line within my budget.

The dial is beautiful and the case finishing is one of the nicest I’ve got with a nice combination of brushed and polished finishing. The bracelet looks great, but feels cheap, I think I’ll stick with it but I’d hope that a watch with an MSRP of over €1000 would put more of an effort into it’s bracelets. As I’ve said the bracelet feels cheap and the pin and collab system needs to go (why not just use push pins if screwed links are too expensive) and clasp is ridiculous for a watch with this market price.

Anyway I don’t want to turn this into a full review as plenty of people have done that better than I can. Just wanted to say that if you’re wanting a nice dial I don’t think you can go wrong with this one.
