4 New Watches: Day 1
4 new watches came in today and today I’m testing out my first plus €1000 purchase. I’ve been interested in Farer for a while now and I first saw this compressor diver at the end of last year and have been wanting it ever since.
First impressions are a little mixed. The watch itself is beautiful the silver dial looks fantastic I like the movement of the crowns and the friction bezel feels nice. The applied features on the watch look great as does the case shape. But the bracelet I bought separately feels a little cheap and I dislike the clasp.
Have to see how this one plays out.

I love the Big Moon. I’ve written a review on it that you can find on my profile. But it’s a great watch. Looks good and very comfortable to wear. It was my first moonphase and I was worried it might be a little complicated but it is quite easy.
I like the watch overall but find the differently colored crowns to be somewhat odd.

That was actually one of the selling points for me. I’ll admit that odds a good word for it but I like it. Just a bit disappointed with the bracelet.

The good news is that you can always replace the bracelet if you want to.

Yep already got a sailcloth strap that’ll probably work well.
Great watch! I've been looking at that watch for a while now and have always been hesitant to make the purchase. I have a skinny wrist so I worried it might look like I've strapped a steel egg on my wrist due to its design. It looks good on you!

Thanks I’ve got 7” wrists so I’m not that big but it does feel perfect on me. Farer have a few 36mm watches including some gmts that look fantastic. That size never felt right for me unfortunately but it might be worth looking into.
