Yeah, the "manager" of the Pieces of Time store on the last cruise we were on (who seemed a knowledgeable young gentleman) kept referring to Tissot as an "entry-level Swiss watch." Damn, with my budget a PRX or Le Locle is towards the top of the wish list!

I really don't care. If I think a #Tissot is a wonderful watch for my desires and budget, then so be it. "Entry-level" is a relative thing.

My financial manager (aka my wife) would never allow me to get to the stage where I need a spreadsheet to keep track of my watches. So no.

Agreed. You could make a case for having a Royale for travel and a few Duros of various bezel colours and strap combinations and call it a day as far as collecting is concerned, all with an outlay of less than $500.00.

I like the looks of the Panamericana and they used to have a Reims model (which doesn't show up on their website now) which was attractive, but I hear little about them outside of the motorsport realm. It's the same with TW Steel (WRC sponsors).
