Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I've been fascinated by watches for as long as I can remember and as soon as I started earning a comfortable income, I started buying pre-owened.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A kids timex when I was approx 6 years old.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My seaweed Omega Seamaster diver. I sold it to a dealer in part exchange for a GMT Master II (black and blue bezel on a jubilee). However I missed it so much, I bought it back (at a loss) 4 weeks later!
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don't compromise, wait for the watch you want.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I love Omega and Rolex but have been thinking about Zenith a lot!
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
The gold speedmaster 3861 with the green dial. Its stunning and I love green on a watch! Closely followed by a black dial daytona.
