How long have you owned the speedy reduced? Have you serviced it? Has the movement given you problems? I was in between the speedy reduced and the speedy racing but opted for the racing because of the problems I heard the reduced’s movement could possibly give.

I just got it a couple of weeks ago so I haven't had any problems with it. Luckily it appears to be very healthy with an amplitude of 280+ and over the last eight days it's been running at -0.52 spd, so it's exceeded all my expectations so far.
It has to be 15 years old now, so I'd assume with numbers like that it's been serviced at some point.
I don't believe the ETA 2892 based movement itself is problematic, as much as the piggybacked chronograph module by Dubois-Depraz. I've read that the module is a bear to service and Omega themselves just replaces them. I've also read they're not that hard to service by a competent watchmaker. Like most things, the truth is usually somewhere in between. With luck it will be a long time before I find out for sure!
