One Ludwig has a remnant, cut-off painted roman numeral at 6 o'clock, the other has only empty space there. This will be more evident when you see it on your wrist. Once you know the difference, you cannot unsee it.

Beautiful piece. The watch is running - and looks well taken care of. Consider to start with a service at you local watchmaker - if they take it in. If you have a shop you have dealt with before, they will be delighted to either service it, or recommend someone who does.
