Easy. My late Grandfather's 1966 T12 Automatic. Yes yes I'm becoming a soppy old fool in my older age but bearing in mind he gave me this when I was 11 the sheer ruggidness, sublime timekeeping and simple good looks with practcality, this one will also stay, be worn foreverand will be handed on to my boy. Just not when he's 11.
You're most welcome. The instructions for calibrating using a quartz watch to sync with the laptop internal clock take a bit of patience but so worth it - more information on it than a commercial weitshi timegrapher and you can save your before and after service results 😊
I've been called out as disgusting for this method, but here goes... A soft cotten bud with saliva on the end.. Apparently according to the old watchmakers the enzymes in saliva break down the old grease/oil/mould etc on the dial without affecting the laquer. Saying that it was in fairly good shape to begin with.
I use this shareware with a phone hands free set microphone, and a laptop. The instructions are really good and once set up it's great! Certainly transformed my tinkering and calibration 👍🏻
As an artisan watchmaker I do find that the aftermarket stretch bracelets have sprung ends to fit the different lug widths on different watches, they tend to end up wearing the inside of the lugs through metal to metal contact
