Just looked in the manual... Guess this is what makes the difference: "your watch will run for approximately 7 months from a full charge...". So, take it to the garten now and then - wearing a polo or tshirt - and can sleep well again ;O).
1) I have had a Citizen Promaster (Ecodrive) for the past +5 years. It is my "beater watch" and often it spends it's time in a dark watch box. It has NEVER ran out of juice and looses only few seconds/month. Also no skratches on the crystal, even though it is not sapphire. My daily driver is an automatic watch... just convenient to pick up my beater and know it is on time...
2) I bought it after watching a few reviews - and wanted the version on a bracelet which is not the common choice. Did not try it on first. Even got a nice discount. In my opinion: If you try it on in a shop, you should also purchase it in a shop.
3) ALWAYS real hands for me...
My previous daily driver, was a Citizen with a perpetual calendar. This was really convenient and I had that watch for +15 years - Excellent quality.
Enjoy your purchase, Rgds. Lars
