Just for comparison, here's one on a shell cordovan burgundy strap. And to answer @KevinK 's question, their somewhat misteriously in the middle. Not too pink to be feminine, but definitely not just silvery white

It is indeed! I see it as Rolex's "playful" watch considering most other models haven't strayed far beyond their origins ... except for the recent releases of the coloured Oyster Perpetuals.

Haha, that's a good one. Never crossed my mind there is a mathematical formula which makes a whole lota sense

That's actually a good point. Maybe it's not about the amount, its about pacing ourselves so that we continue to enjoy both the new pieces and the ones we have held onto. Thanks!
