Yeah very true, I think I’ll be avoiding AliExpress dials from now on.
The first watch I ever built was made with parts all from eBay, and I’m pretty happy with the dial and hands I got from there. Turned out great, in my opinion.
I found a very similar dial from Komoworks without the seiko logo but it’s a bit too expensive for me to justify buying it just yet. Maybe a bit later!

komo works are a bit more expensive, but have some amazing dials imo.
