I’ve purchased both my Orients from Creation watches out of Singapore. Excellent service. 

Orient is the brand that got me into watches. I’m trying to decide between the watch you bought and the Orient Defender 2 for my first field watch. Having trouble deciding, I like the look of the Defender a bit better. The Defender is also a little larger and doesn’t come with sapphire crystal. Not sure how hard it would be to find a replacement sapphire for the Defender. The Star seems a bit more like a traditional field watch,at least to thi newb.
