Farer Universal Bernina Chronograph Sport

I guess I've been back in the chronograph mood recently. A switch from my Sinn to my Farer Bernina. Yes, one of the reasons I bought this was to match my car. Early morning WWC shots for my Sunday drive to hang with the family today.
At 12.9mm thick (13.5mm with the subtle box dome sapphire crystal) and a compact 44mm lug to lug, this mechanical chronograph wears comfortably slim on wrist.

I really love the absolute playfulness Farer has brought to the design of the Bernina… a reminder that watches can actually be fun. Thanks for sharing! 🔥🔥🔥

I have always liked this one a lot but it was at the beginning of my collecting and I thought it was a bit steep, then I discovered CW , and host of other fine makes so it doesnt seem expensive now ! I think I remember the LUME was a little lame, just points right? The Cranfield ( I hope I referring to the right one has INCREDIBLE l Ume which I have and love

Yeah, the lume is not the best.. at least on the dial. The hands hold well enough to read the time which is bare minimal enough for me. But, how often do I look at the watch in pitch black or even the chronograph feature? The watch still shines and is a looker in available light which is most of the time I can appreciate it's good looks.

Wasn't expecting much usually from chronographs.. though, as a personal point, I believe if you're going to use lume, then really use it and not just dabble in it, regardless of genre of watch.

It looks really cool on your wrist, especially with the bracelet, I think it deserves another look, hmm ! Farer is the only watch co that I think has a real sense for colors and design, ( I think I have about 8)
