I made the mistake of reading an article about Swatch sistem 51 movements when they came out. It gradually worsened from there.

I wish I did. A Seiko gen 1 RAF issued chronograph is probably the one with the most interesting history in my collection.

Don’t sell your first mechanical watch you’ll regret it. When the urge for something new comes along, and it will, save up instead.
