A tale of 2 mechanical chronographs ⌚
Here's my current collection of mechanical chronographs (I also own two quartz powered chronos):
L = Omega Speedmaster 57 2022 - $8900
40.5mm case, 13mm thick, manual wind, 60H PR, 50m WR, caliber 9906 movement with jump hr function
R = Pitzmann III chronograph - $1300
40mm case/41mm bezel, 13.2mm thick, automatic, 45H PR, 50M WR, Seiko 8R48 auto movement
Both are great watches despite the massive price difference and different brands/movements.
I honestly wear the Pitzmann more on a daily basis due to being an automatic winding movement and slightly better wearing dimensions on my wrist, but I cannot deny the beauty and craftsmanship of the Omega when I wind it up and take it out of the box.
