Lebois & Co. or Excelsior Park

An increasing number of revived watch brands seem to be coming up as of late and two in particular have caught my eye especially since I've a penchant for 50s/60s chronographs. Lebois&Co and Excelsior Park have launched their pre-orders and they both look incredible especially for the current asking price of ~2.2k USD. Has anyone else taken an interest in these? I'm absolutely torn between the two.

Both are awesome but the Leboise with the applied numerals is just spot on perfect.

Have not seen these in the flesh, but the finishing (Geneva stripes and other details) of the Lebois & Co movement as well as the styling and dial are in my view hands down superior on the basis of the description alone. Even timing adjusted in 5 positions....The Excelsior can't keep up with that.

Personally I like/prefer the Lebois & Co!

I placed an order for the Airain Type-20 Flyback Chronograph and love what Tom van Wijlick is doing (he is also the owner and “reviver” of the Lebois & Co brand).

The buying experience with Tom feels personal and he has a passion for getting the finest detail right, so Lebois & Co gets my vote. This watch looks stunning!

Both creators seem to have a history of reviving brands with some degree of success. Airain like you mentioned and Nivada Grenchen in the case of Guillame Laidet. I'm equally assured that the final product for both brands would be well executed tributes to their history. The cream dial you've linked has been singing to me and with a column wheel movement and what may be better decoration, I'm almost considering pulling the trigger.

I bought the salmon colored dial with the darkish blue hands. Absolutely wonderful watch. The owner even responded to me when I emailed the company about my order.
