Black Bay Pro extended ownership?

I am curious to here from BB Pro owners who’ve had there watch for 6 months or even a year? My main concern is not the thickness, but how heavy the watch weighs on a nato strap. Does it ever get annoying? I would buy it on a bracelet but also wear on NATO a lot. I have heard it is very heavy compared to the BB Fifty Eight (which I also own if that lends any comparisons). I know heaviness can get annoying over time. Looking for a more understated daily wear piece that’s also good for travel, that’s why the date window is important to me. Any insight helps, thanks!

I’ve never been a big fan of nato, as they look great on others’ wrists, but never on mine for some reason 😅

I have canvas straps and on leather often, and they are comfortable and it never bothers me. On bracelet I feel heavy after a whole day of wearing.

I’ve owned the BBP (on the rubber strap) for about 8 months and consider the watch a balanced, comfortable wear 🤙

I’ve had mine since December and I’m happy I chose it over the BB58. I think the design is better (subjective of course) and the GMT function is useful for me.

In terms of wearability - it’s a bit thicker and heavier than my other watches but by no means is it a problem. Like anything, you get used to it within a couple of days and I have no issues regarding comfort.

Mine is on the bracelet which is excellent. Comfortable, easy adjustments and nicely finished.

Haven’t taken a pic of it recently but here’s an old one.

Those leather and canvas straps look great, especially the leather! Thanks for sharing and good to know about the bracelet.

That’s great to know about the bracelet. I have a 6.5inch wrist so it should be ok. Do you know the weight on bracelet in grams?

Yep I have small wrists and the sizing is just right in my opinion. I don’t know the exact weight but it’s not a heavy bracelet. If you’ve tried on the bb58 bracelet it’s pretty much the same. It’s the watch head that has a bit of chunk that’s all.

Where did you get your leather strap?

Where did you get your leather strap?

This is a blue colour leather strap made in Finland.

I have their straps for both of my watches and have been extremely happy.

I have one that I never use. I can weigh it tomorrow if you are still wanting to know?

I was more curious about the weight in grams of the bb pro on a nato or two piece strap. Thank you!
