I was looking around online for deals and came up upon the Seiko 5, found two that look exactly the same but have different model numbers. Is there any differences between these two models? The price between the two is about $10-12.
It may be that the J1 indicates it was made in Japan (and should say so), and may have Arabic as the 2nd language in the day display, while the K1 indicates it was made somewhere else in Asia, but not Japan, and may have Spanish as the 2nd language in the day display. My guess is the J1 is the more expensive one.
Seiko loves to change the color of a screw on the movement and issue a brand new reference number. So I'm guessing the difference is something minor nobody would ever notice.

Always get the made in Japan version
