Looks like you tap out the friction bar on the metal bracelet. The first one after the quick release connector?

So that first link is still metal, then the rubber, honestly looks pretty secure that way, if that's how it works.

But take what I say with a grain of salt, no watchmaker, but I can cut wires like a champ...🤏🏻😜

Wait what? Why are the spring bars out of the strap? I have the 40mm PRX with a Delugs rubber strap. The spring bars came/are captured in the strap.

They are a PITA to install though, and I imagine the smaller size for the 35mm watch makes it even worse. Easy enough to remove, but every time I go to put them on the watch it takes some fussin and cussin. Long fingernails help to hold the spring bars closed, but the hard part is to position the watch into the strap while doing so.

Nice. My RPX lives on the rubber strap. Two reasons - first, as mentioned, it's a PITA to put the rubber on so it tends to stay on once one. Two, its very comfortable. And three (I lied about two reasons), I've always thought the PRX on the rubber strap gives off a VC Overseas vibe. Which is no bad thing!

Same goes for OEM rubber straps

I’m astonished that no one made strap adapters for this. Or if there are any, I haven’t seen them. Would be a real money-maker.
