I guess it’s a combination of watching YouTube videos on watch channels such as WatchBox, Teddy Baldassarre, Bark & Jack, Jenni Elle, WatchCrunch, etc, etc. And Influences by friends who are into watches.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I wasn’t into watches back then. I remember having few watches like Seikos and Casios during my school days. My first watch with significant meaning is the Rolex watch I bought for my wedding in 2010.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I must admit, I don’t have much stories in my watches except my wedding watch. Hopefully, I can wear those without and create stories down the road.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Control Control Control !!!
Unfortunately easier said than done.
But still got to try.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
JLC, Omega, PANERAI, and MIDO.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I don’t believe there is a grail/exit watch at least not for me. But I would love to own some day (absolutely not anytime soon)
1. A. Lange & Sohne Weitwerk
Why? Love the dial, movement, attention to detail, and is a minute repeater.
2. F.P. Journe
Why? The movement, the dial, the rarity, I’m journed.
3. Patek 5930P
Why? I love that shade of green, the subtle platinum casing, and the world time complication with Chronograph.
