Seiko Willard-X on Jubilee

Hi all, I just put my Willard-X back on a Jubilee bracelet. Much lighter than the original bracelet, but, of course, the original is just better made. Happy weekend, everyone!

Im getting my green Willard this week. How do you find the uncle seiko jubilee bracelet on the Willard? Is there is a lot of difference in color between the case and bracelet?

Congratulations 👏🏻 they're beautiful,tough & very comfortable!!

I'm fortunate to have both ( got black one a year ago, Mrs generously got me the green a couple of months ago)

Yes there's a bit of a colour difference between the diashield coating of the case and the raw steel of the Uncle Seiko Jubilee, but it's very minor and really not that noticeable.

As @Jojocruz said the standard bracelet of the black one is much higher quality tho. Both the Uncle & Seiko bracelets are let down by shite clasps - the rubbish and utterly pointless divers extension on the Seiko,& the friction fit stamped flimsiness of the Uncle.

Hope that helps, good luck with your new Willard, I look forward to seeing you post pics on here soon 😁👏🏻👏🏻

I was going back and forth with which Willard to choose since I got a 62mas last December. Ended up settling with the green to be only found it was already discontinued from my AD and they had already sold every last green piece available. Sakura got one last batch for sale recently and I just pulled the trigger.

I was planning to buy a uncleseiko bracelet after getting my 62mas but then just ended up getting the factory bracelet along with the watch for a good price. I really won't complain about the quality of Seiko bracelet, it is solid and very well finished. Very true about the clasp, I could really do without the diver extension but the rest of the clasp is thin and comfortable, my large wrist helps me negate the diver extension.

I have a similar 18mm push button clasp that came for my Tissot T-race, it works well with the Seiko bracelet since both the ends are straight and 18mm and it is a easy swap with lot of adjustment holes. Its a nice and simple clasp to improve the bracelet.

I'll definitely post pictures when I get the watch 😁

Why didn't you go for a version with fitted endlinks?
