Ya it’s a concern, given my desk job, but I wind it a ton to try to compensate and it’s still a problem.

I’ve actually talked to him on the phone. I’m going to see him next week. Good to hear  are commendation too though!

Ya, the first one also Scammed my fiancé on a gift she bought for me then wouldn’t let us return it, so I had to make do with store credit. Just a jerk. The second watchmaker is probably just a snob That didn’t want to work on a Miyota.

Thank you. I do wind it Before wearing too. I noticed some black rubbing marks from the rotor on that plate in between the rotor and casback and that actually allowed me to be able to wear it for a full day again.

I do wind it Before wearing. Thank you. this is helpful. I just need something to talk to the next watchmaker about so they don’t brush me off. The last literally opened it up, looked inside, and told me that he doesn’t work on quartz watches smh

Yaaaaaa I had heard too many bad stories to even bother trying that lol

The one thing I have done myself was remove the small plate separating the rotor from the case back. It looks like the rotor was getting caught on that for a time. It was stop and starting randomly before then. Now it’ll run, just doesn’t store energy in the spring
