Not in spite of the fact that my daily driver is a Glycine Airman worldtimer, but because most gmt watches, particularly the so-called true gmt watches are, essentially, dual-timers. It makes no difference to me wether I can ‘jump’ the gmt hand, or the hour hand; I need to reference the gmt hand accurately at a glance, and I will always use the 24 hour scale bezel insert to set local destination time. I refuse to constantly pull the crown out. Theres the rub, though - I actually do use utc daily, particularly when traveling. I appreciate Seiko, and I particular appreciate that they have created a proper triple-timer. Glycines aren’t particularly expensive, but this skx wannabe gmt is half the price or less retail of a grey market Airman gmt. I will be getting one for my collection, and I will use it to its potential - and I won’t have anxiety about beating on it.
