That‘s a ridiculous demand for most brands. Very often, even when you are the first customer on whatever “list” they may have, your watch will be tried on by other customers. When it’s a very popular brand / rare model, it may even go to the window despite it being already sold.
I love my vintage JLC Atmos clock. It still keeps great time despite being 40-50 years old (couple of seconds per day and I’m sure some adjustment would get it even more accurate). Prices vary depending on rarity and condition, but it’s possible to find relatively affordable ones.
What an awesome collection! Two of my favorite Grand Seikos, absolutely classic Rolex and a super versatile Seamaster too. However, the absolute highlight for me is the Nomos Tangente Toki. What a rare and uniquely designed piece!
If you ever think about selling it, I‘ll pay (almost) any price 😂 - totally not kidding about that.

I wear mine 2-3 days a week, rotating it with my Nomos. Still loving every second. So far, I only have minor scratches on the Oysterclasp. The watch itself basically looks like new.
