My grandfathers watch, found in the back of a draw. Bit of a long shot, but does anyone recognise the brand or know anything about the model?

Have not seen one before, but would seem like a nice heirloom. Proper restoration aside a movement service might be in order.

Not a big fan of patina, but dial and hands seem to have developed a great character.

So many brands from this period are lost to time. This style of WW2 field watches in particular seem to have an endless list of manufacturers.
