Jomashop to buy a Panerai

Hi All,

Looking at choosing a Panerai for my wedding watch, and the price seems to be the best from Jomashop. I am wondering if I purchase from here, will it come with international Panerai warranty? I live in Australia. thank you!

I am not sure if it is true for Panerai, but Jomashop provides their own warranty in lieu of the manufacturer's warranty on the watches I have bought from them, as they are a grey market dealer for most of the brands they stock.

Agree with @Candide3693 , Jomashop has their own warranty. I've purchased from them as well (I ended up returning after finding out about the warranty piece). No issue with them as a whole. If you are looking for new, I'd recommend buying from Panerai, or maybe calling a boutique or AD. There are a few that you can buy from online or via phone. If you are looking to try it on first that's a different story.

My personal preference would be to buy from Panerai online and have them ship it to you.

I'd steer clear from Jomashop for any "major" purchase. They are hit or miss. Lots of threads, good and bad, are out there on various watch fora.

I would agree. At the level I do most of my purchasing, Jomashop is great! Not sure I would be browsing their Rolex selections. 🤣

Why not buy from Chrono24 from a professional dealer?  If you do so, they should provide full manufacturer's warranty, plus you'll get the real market price - typically discount off MSRP.

Thanks everybody for the advice!

i will definitely take on board. Chrono24 I have tried contacting a seller but they didn’t respond. might have to try another

Sometimes if you ask jomashop customer service nicely, they will provide the brand warranty card as well.

Thanks for that. Is Jomashop one of those grey market dealers where as soon as they get the watches from their AD, the warranty card is stamped/marked or something? If that’s the case, then has The warranty already been voided before it reaches the customer, or is it that the warranty period began from the date that  Jomashop purchased the watch from the AD, and hence what may be left over by the time the watch gets to the Jomashop customer is the warranty period they have to work with?

Any other info you were able to find out? Really curious about Jomashop’s business model
