I’ve decided to keep my favorite watch I’ve ever owned.

Let me explain…

I got my Unimatic U2 about a half a year ago. I have been bewitched by the watch. It has an unexplainable charm and soul to it. A “second cool” if you will. Loving the watch so much, I wanted to do everything possible to keep the watch from getting scratched or dented badly. So I cannot conceptually explain to you the rage I felt when my 4 year old ADHD max yeeted a 3 cent BIC pen and it slammed into my beloved Italian masterpiece. This plastic worthless garbage scratched my favorite watch. So this rage and disappointment made me put the watch a away for over 3 months and I was sure I was going to sell it. Yesterday I had a moment of enthusiast maturity. I took out the watch and fell in love. I couldn’t see the scratch unless under blue lights or using a flashlight up close. I realized the scratch wasn’t so bad and I couldn’t see it 90% of the time. So my beloved Italian friend and me are back to making memories for ever.

It's meant to be worn. Enjoy it!

Scratches add character, they tell a story. If you wear a watch, it’ll get scratched.

No safe queens allowed. Watch's are ment to be worn. Scratch's are just part of their story.

·

It’s a distinctive trait, part of a future history

Where is the scratch ? Maybe you can polish out if it’s on the crystal

As soon as the farmer signed the papers on his brand new pickup, he walked over to it and took a key to the fender. The salesman asked him, “Why did you do that?” “I can drive it now without fussing about putting a scratch in it.”

One day you will look at that scratch- and only think of your how wonderful your 4 year old kid is. This is the beauty of a daily beater.
