My New Addiesdive AD 2030

Picked this up off of Amazon a few days ago. Just looking for a small compact white dial watch and boy, was it more than that. I love every single thing about this watch. First off the bracelet is the quality you would find in a $3-400 timepiece. Second, the movement is stunning. The sweeping seiko mech quartz is insanely beautiful and gives you all of the charm of a mechanical watch, but the accuracy and slimness of a quartz. Third, the dial is BEAUTIFUL. The snow like dial gives the impression of a grand seiko. Case and bracelet give the impression of an oyster perpetual.

On top of that, other admirable features include solid links, solid end links, milled clasp, solid stainless case and bracelet, screw down caseback, and screw down crown. All of this awesomeness packed into an $80 watch (cheaper if you go on aliexpress).

Great watch! The only thing that bugs me is the caseback. The engraving is a bit sharp and rubs my wrist raw. Have you experienced that? I'll go at it with something to smooth the edges at some point.

100% agree. It doesn’t bother me very much, but today was my first day wearing it so I haven’t noticed any discomfort so far. I tend to not wear it with any slack in the bracelet so it doesn’t slide around a whole lot. I wonder if there are 3rd party casebacks that you can buy that would fit on it. To help in your instance. I have a Pagani Design speedmaster and those casebacks are the same way. I guess the only alternative ways of fixing this is…MAYBE sandpaper? Maybe wearing it a little tighter? Maybe changing casebacks? Who knows. All I know is, that the watch is great and I still recommend it despite the minor flaw in design.

Looks good… but they should work on a better branding logo.

For sure. I like what Pagani Design does with some of their watches. They made a single logo rather then printing the whole text on the dial. I wish Addies would adopt some of their techniques and Addies adopt some of paganis. It’s just how it is I suppose.

Addiesdive is surprisingly good in terms of finishing.

I got the brown dial. I’m very impressed I think I’ll get the white dial too!

Great watch.

I love this watch but one thing has made this a little less sweet for me.

The one I bought 9 months ago has a much better bracelet than the one I got a couple of weeks ago.

The newer bracelet isn't bad at all but the original one is noticeably better quality and is one of the main reasons I bought another.

Regardless it is a fantastic watch for not very much money!

Me too. I love my sand brown AD2030 and thinking the white version would be great for summer and could wear it as GADA and not worry if it gets scratched - and look cool throughout.

I moved my brown dial to a StrapmillCanada strap almost immediately. The 20mm strap squeezed into the 19mm lugs with minimal effort.
