@Riverside I can agree with that. There are a lot of watches that look down right amazing and can do some pretty cool things both quartz and mechanical. I guess for me it’s everything that goes into the watch. A Casio A168 will do everything and anything I could ever need in a watch but pretend for a moment that it came in a mechanical option…. ( yes I know the a168 is a digital watch) for me someone making a mechanical watch and to make it as precise as possible and continuous innovation and improvement is
More impressive to me that updating a chip in a circuit board. To make micro gears and drive trains with such precision that it will tell you the time within + or - a
Few sec a day it nuts, and to go as in-depth as something like a grand complication and be precise with all those gear ratios is insane to me.
