Comparison for those interested

Not much to say, but a comparison between the Pogue and 55th Anniversary Seiko 5 sport .

Image

As you can see there's actually quite a lot of difference between the cases - the new one is far less crisp , with the area between the lugs being the most distinctive features .

Image

The Pogue is also a tad bigger in all dimensions (as you'd expect from a chronograph)

Apologies the pics ain't great, took them in a hurry before work this morning.

The new one is lovely, I'm impressed with the quality, given that it's the least expensive Seiko I've bought for many years - it's not light years away from either of my Willards or Alpinist in quality!

Well happy with the SRPK17, if you're on the fence then go for it, it's a bargain!

Funny, The Mad Watch Collector did a review video about the 55th anniversary Seiko 5, and gave his thoughts that 2024 marks the 55th anniversary for the Pogue...so he thinks there might be anniversary edition of that coming next year. We shall see...suspect that would be a popular release...

Yes I watched that, that's what inspired me to get one & post this.

I'd love to see a Pogue look-a-like in this 5Sports line. 🤞🏻
