Probably a Timex or Smith's. White dial, silver Arabic's, on a red white and blue "NATO"
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Yes
Bought my Dad the first Aqua Terra quartz for Xmas a few years ago.
He wore it for a while, then decided it was too expensive to wear,so was going to sell it ....
Being such a lovely piece,& as it'd been part of Dad's life 24/7 (like me he sleeps, showers & does everything wearing it) I bought it back from him at at much reduced price.
It now is firmly one of my favourite pieces, & kind ole Pa used the money I'd paid him to put towards a surprise car we bought my Better half 😀❤️
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don't! It's gonna suck up all your spare money & fill your brain with useless information 🤣
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Omega
British made brands
Seiko
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Got it, my Omega SM300
Wanted for many years, bought with money left by my Mum. Sentimental, love it. Chosen because her Father was a Royal Marine Commando in WW2
