New video up on my channel ->
Citizen watches have an excellent history , but I would bet that you probably haven't looked into its digital watch catalog too much beyond perhaps the ana-digi temp.. This video provides an overview of the origins of Citizen Watch Co , its first forays into electronic watches and quartz, with the primary focus being on its digital watch offerings.
This overview moves through from the original crystron LC , to their first alarm and multi alarm models , the amazing Citizen crystron calcaultor watches, as well as their 80s sports watch and multi function models. Of particular note is the P130 casio g-shock clone - very cool. Into the 90s we cover the Promaster range , with a favourite being the hyper aqualand and the super fun Citizen independent series which had a whole array of bonkers watches.
My name is Gordon and I run a YouTube channel focused largely on digital, electronic and vintage watch history. Link below!
