I was gifted a Daniel Wellington as my daily. At the time I thought that it was too expensive 🙄and fragile to wear for every day use, so I purchased a Casio databank for a beater. I coveted the databank as a kid but never owned one. I was satisfied for 3 days. Once the urge hit again, I decided to buy the first watch I ever wore as a kid. [Casio AE-20 Twin Graph] The addiction was begining to take effect. When I was on the hunt for the twin graph, I realized too late, that the trap door opened up under my feet and I fell deeply into this hobby.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Casio Twin Graph AE-20
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I bought a casio royal as a beater, but put an authentic Casio oemed world time strap on it with a multi colored map of the globe image on both pieces. The strap is worth more than the watch, and since I dont want the pic to fade off the retro resin band, I baby a beater.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don’t turn up your nose to quartz.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
