Fun Collab for Fashion Friday

I was heavily into fashion in my younger days (read: before children). Very brand conscious and even got into bespoke clothing. These days it's hard to spend a lot of money on clothes when I work from home and go out so infrequently. Plus it's bad enough I spend thousands on watches, so now it's Old Navy for me.

Recently, a brand out of NYC called Proper Cloth reached out to me offering their shirts to use in my wristshots. I was even more excited when I realized they do full custom clothing where I could pick every minor detail like collar style, fit, and even mixing fabrics. The process was really easy to go through.

So here's one of the sets paired with the two-tone green Rado Captain Cook. I'm getting pudgy across the middle but I'm able to hide that with some clever fitting of the shirt. I also prefer to wear my shirts untucked, so I had them make it a bit shorter. There is even a "watch allowance" setting that adds 1cm to one cuff to allow your 17mm chronos & divers to slide under. Mixing patterns rule is to pair large and small prints, so I picked a Hawaiian style print for the inside of the collar and inner cuffs to contrast the smaller floral print of the main shirt. For the pants, I've always liked the material for chinos but dislike the way they fit, so I had them made to fit like jeans. Going for an autumn vibe with this look. Let me know what you think!
