Hello fellow watch lover. I don't know how this happened but I suddenly realize... I like watches with a preference for automatics. My current favorite is Omega but I still love my G-Shock, my Tissot and even to my utter amazement my Pagani Design. My new daily beater is a Deep Blue Tritdiver. I just gave my Seiko Five to my son so I currently have five watches. My wife just made the mistake of giving me a 10 watch holder box... silly girl... now I have to fill it up. I've become such a watch slut lol. Rolex? Micro brand? Seiko? Tungsten rotor? Birchwood? Sigh :-)
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Omega, Tudor, Spinnaker. I'm into automatic, skeleton, tourbillon.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Built for sporting comfort, the ergonomically designed "Ultra Light" is fashioned from an alloy called Gamma Titanium, a strong yet lightweight material used in the aeronautical industry. The use of Gamma Titanium is a first for OMEGA. As is the telescopic crown, which can be stowed inside the case when not in use.
Presented on a black rubber strap, the watch includes a sandblasted grade 5 titanium dial featuring the iconic Aqua Terra stripes. When worn on the additional sporty fabric strap, the watch weighs just 55 grams.
This 41 mm Aqua Terra makes bold use of blue on the aluminium seconds hand, Seamaster logo, quarter hour markers and strap stitching. The watch is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8928 Ti, the brand's first movement built from titanium.
