I am looking at the AT as well and been reading the same thing all over with people complaining about the bracelet and saying the Shades one is better. I had never heard about the comfort adjustment on a butterfly clasp but for me, that sounds like the best of both worlds because I like the tapering on the butterfly the AT currently has. I like the idea of legible at a distance timers. I was thinking for psychologists looking at your watch could be seen as rude and not all rooms have clocks. In your case a watch could get in the way. Something like a coloured bar that fills up as a preset time elapses could be cool too.
Great idea, a small compartment could have a lot of uses. I'm imagining a watch that reminds you to take your pills and maybe even stores one or two. Might need to go quarts for some extra room in the case/lugs.
