I have a NH34 on order. Going to stuff it into an Invicta diver case and replace the bezel ring. The native Chinese movements in watches under $200.00 are crap. Aside from the 1963 The most successful Chinese watches are all powered by Japanese movements.

it sure is but their cheap versions are poorly serviced with contamination. your not getting a competent watchmaker to put it together for the cheap prices they charge for them. The swiss will use them but service and regulate them first. Every Chinese movement could be good if they service it as it goes out the door but they don't.
I bought mine earlier this year. While I’m disappointed with the GMT complication ( doesn’t work). I kept mine for the looks. Good review though!!!
Are you sure the GMT doesn't work?
I was thinking the same thing at first (expecting the GMT hand to stay 5hrs ahead of the hour hand, for example), but this complication is different - it uses the 24hr bezel to tell time.
So for example, if it's noon ET and you want to set the GMT hand to London time (ET+5) , you would set it to 1700 (17 on the bezel).
It took me a day to realize this. I thought mine was malfunctioning too!

Sorry to hear that. Was yours this new NH34 version, or the older DG movement one? Thanks.
It was the DG version.
It was the DG version.
Ah ok. That makes more sense.

The PT5000 is a good Chinese movement too.

Thanks, for the suggestion I’ll give it a try!
